A week ago I ran my first barefoot marathon.
I was confident that I could do it but had no idea what speed I would be able to maintain. I let my feet deicide what the pace would be depending on the terrain. I had a time goal of sub 4hrs but it wasn't a big deal and I wasn't going to kill myself to get it. The main thing was to complete the marathon barefoot and generally have fun with my fellow runners.i did this trail run on Boxing Day 2010 but only just found it on my phone. You can read my thoughts and see how slow i was running/jogging and how lost i became.

The week of tapering felt really slow but all of a sudden it's race morning. The drive to Canberra was tiring after working all day. Finally arrived at the hotel which was as crusty as can be and came with big blowflies hanging out in the bathroom.
Laid out everything for the morning and fell into bed. Head hits the pillow to the engaging sounds of Lady Ga Ga wafting across the neighbouring paddock which proceeded for several hours. So to say the least it took me a long time to get to sleep even though I was knackered.
Now that just covered my childhood.
Guitar solos are way too awesome. Mind blown and hair teased!
Really happy to see this again. I saw this last year in Melbourne when they had there Dali exhibition.
There is absolutely no way to explain how awesome this is!!
